Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who we are
The Action Taker (the "Service") is operated by Global Tech Develop Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in [England & Wales], company number [number], registered office [address]. Contact: [hello@theactiontaker.co.uk].
2. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using the Service you confirm you're at least 16 and agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We protect accounts with two-factor authentication and lockout after repeated failed logins. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may sign in with email or with Google, Apple or Facebook.
4. Content and access
The Service offers short clips, full video episodes, and written articles. During our launch period access is free — you only need an account to watch. We may later introduce paid membership; where content is marked "Members", access requires an active subscription. We may add, change, or remove content at any time.
5. Membership and payments
If you take out a membership, you authorise us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge the stated fee on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We'll tell you before any price change. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refunds Policy for your cancellation and refund rights.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — videos, audio, text, logos, and the "The Action Taker" brand — is owned by or licensed to Global Tech Develop Ltd and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access it for your own non-commercial use. You must not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly perform, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what's not allowed (including attempting to bypass access controls or security). We may suspend or close accounts that breach it.
8. Third-party content and links
Blog items may link to third-party sites, and episodes may embed video from platforms such as YouTube. We're not responsible for third-party content or their terms and privacy practices.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, with notice where practicable. On closure your right to access content ends and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Contact
